In 1996, after retiring from the U.S. Air Force, Richard and Patricia Rountree founded Dundee Internet Services, Inc., a dial-up Internet service provider based in Michigan. The following year, web hosting was added to the services the company offered.
In 2001, Richard registered the domain dwli.net for another project. That project ultimately did not move forward, so the domain remained with the company while web hosting continued under the Dundee Internet name.
Over the years, we’ve worked with customers from many different industries, including small businesses, individuals, corporations, organizations, and nonprofits. Many clients have told us they were lucky to find us—and wished they had found us sooner.
That helped inspire the name Digital Web Leprechauns.
With Richard’s Irish heritage, our customers often telling us they felt lucky to have found us, and our appreciation for the possibilities of the Internet, the name felt like a natural fit.
Today, DWLI continues that same tradition: combining experience, reliable technology, and personal service to help our clients build and maintain a strong online presence.
